Noa Blanket Co. approached us to create a film that would launch their new ‘Limitless’ range of blankets. Noa wanted to document the journey to creating these blankets as well as the stories that are embedded into each of the three designs.

Each blanket represents a story whether it’s UHI TAI that speaks of the steadfast Tirikawa (North Rock) near Mauao or TĀTAI HONO that references the architecture of Whare Tupuna (the traditional meeting house). These stories were referenced through the selection of relevant and significant locations.

Woven throughout the film there’s themes of craft, celebration and internal & environmental sustainability. These are topics that have been encountered by Josh and Whakaawa throughout Noa Blanket Co’s inception and are key to the overall brand story.
